In the 1990's I sold computer hardware and had a couple of websites online and it was there that I realized that all web hosting is not created equal. Just like every company out there, there are honest ones and un-honest ones, customer orientated ones, customer ignorant ones. I would say there is only a handful of hosting companies that even answer the phone when you call instead of having to leave a message or something. Hundreds of web hosting companies have been used and most of them have little to be desired. Some companies with small hosting packages with a very cheap price like $1.00 or $2.00 per month is ok but my biggest gripe with companies like that are the slow servers I have encountered. 2 or 3 seconds in load time for a website is pretty critical in a business situation.
