| Frontpage Hosting: Microsoft FrontPage is a WYSIWYG HTML editor and web site administration tool from Microsoft for the Windows line of operating systems. It was branded as part of the Microsoft Office suite from 1997 to 2003. Microsoft FrontPage has since been replaced by Microsoft Expression Web and Sharepoint Designer, which were first released in December 2006. Frontpage is discontinued, however frontpage extentions are still supported. There are 3 versions of Microsoft Frontpage 2000, 2002, 2003. A web host company that supports frontpage usually has a one click install button to install frontpage extensions. Frontpage extensions need to be installed so the web page you created in frontpage will display properly on the internet. You do not need to know html to use Frontpage. |
